Judge Schneider earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado – Colorado Springs in 2008 and her law degree from the University of Oregon School of Law in 2011. She practiced law in Colorado and Wyoming for eight years, with a focus on civil litigation, family law, dependency and neglect, and criminal law. She was a deputy district attorney in the 14th Judicial District.

She was appointed Moffat County Court judge in 2020 and judge of the 14th Judicial District Court in November 2023. She became chief judge of the 14th Judicial District in 2024. Her docket combines domestic relations, civil, juvenile and criminal matters.
