Judge Larson received his law degree from the University of Michigan Law School and his undergraduate and master's degrees from Syracuse University. He was a law clerk for a federal District Court Judge. He then worked as an attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice for more than twenty years, serving in leadership roles in Washington, D.C., and Colorado.
He was appointed a District Judge in May 2024.
