Judge Zenisek earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Colorado and his J.D. at the University of Denver. He was a law clerk to Chief Judge Lewis Babcock of the U.S. District Court. He then worked in private practice at Brownstein Hyatt Farber Shreck, P.C. and was an Assistant District Attorney for the 20th Judicial District.
He was appointed to the First Judicial District Court in December 2011. He is a District Court Judge in Jefferson County and presides over a mixed docket of criminal, civil and domestic relations cases.
