Judge McGuire received his undergraduate degree from Northern Arizona University in 1998 and his law degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 2001. Before joining the bench, he was a Deputy State Public Defender. He then served as a District Court magistrate judge and later as a County Court judge for several years.
He was appointed to the District Court in July 2024. His current docket is 50% domestic relations matters and 50% criminal cases.
