Judge White was raised in Colorado. He graduated from Rangeview High School and the University of Colorado, and he earned his law degree at the University of Puget Sound in 1992. He returned to Colorado soon after and practiced law for twenty years.
In 2015 he was appointed a Magistrate in the Eighteenth Judicial District. As a magistrate, he handled domestic relations, felony intake, traffic, juvenile and problem-solving cases. He now presides over a mixed docket in Arapahoe County, mostly criminal with some domestic relations cases.
