Judge Hesson earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Dallas in 2013 and his law degree from Baylor University School of Law in 2015. He worked as a deputy district attorney for the 14th Judicial District Attorney's Office from 2017.
He was appointed to the Moffat County Court in January 2024. He handles a combined docket of traffic cases, civil disputes including small claims, and criminal and misdemeanor cases.
