Judge Stuart earned his undergraduate degree at Stanford University, a master's degree in education at Harvard University, and his law degree at Georgetown University Law Center. He was a district court magistrate from 2010 to 2012. He then served as a county court judge in Jefferson County from 2012 to 2019.
He was appointed to the 18th Judicial District Court in January 2019. He presides over a criminal docket in Arapahoe County.
