Judge Finn earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Colorado and his law degree at Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. Before joining the bench, he worked for commercial law firms in Los Angeles and Denver and was a law clerk for a judge on the Colorado Court of Appeals. He was a Senior Deputy District Attorney in Adams and Broomfield Counties, and Chief Trial Deputy and Chief Appellate Deputy in Boulder County.
Governor John Hickenlooper appointed him in 2018 as a District Court Judge in the 17th Judicial District, which serves Adams and Broomfield Counties.
