Judge Hause graduated from Colorado State University in 1983. He earned his law degree at Lewis and Clark Law School in Portland, Oregon, in 1986. For 27 years, from 1986 to 2013, he was a solo practitioner. He worked in family law, bankruptcy, juvenile law, mental health law, criminal defense, general civil cases and mediation.
He was appointed to the District Court for the Nineteenth Judicial District on November 30, 2013. He now presides over domestic relations, dependency and neglect, and adoption cases.
